Phi Brain – 14

Random image because fuck you.

<~Quattro> for the post
<~Quattro> Actually, nothing

Editor note: Certain instances of Rook’s name will now be changed to Luke because we believe that his real name is Luke and his name in the POG is Rook. Previous eps will be fixed in the batch.

    thx veery match

but, did the translateur changed? because the translation isnt good like the others episodes!!! that what i think and arigato

    • AsuraE says:

Congratulations, you made me facedesk. Just a quick question though: If you’re capable of judging the level of a translation, why are you watching subbed anime instead of raw?

  6. haitam says:

i didnt sai that the translation is bad but its just not clear look at this “When talking about him, Kaito looked so nostalgic, so distant…

A kind of look that he would never show me.

Sometimes I think about it, you know…

what is this!!! like a said its just my opinion

    • AsuraE says:

That’s called editing, not translation. What’s more, that line makes perfect sense. I’d be willing to bet that it’s a lack of English (at least judging from how you’ve written) that’s no letting you understand it properly.

  7. RogerBlue says:

Whoa… someone is getting a visit from Hoarders soon. J/k couldnt resist. ^.^ Thanks!

  8. Chabaaa says:

  9. LOLOLOL says:

I recognize that Skrillix logo anywhere…

  10. Anon says:

If Luke is Rook does that mean Kaito will be Knight? :|a

    Ana is amazing.

  13. nINJAkECIL says:

A little bit late, but I only able to watched it today.
Seems like you’ve got a little encoder issue.
And you might want to fix this inconsistent name in the batch.

    • Quattro says:

      Read. The. Post.

As for the encoding error, that was probably in the .ts, not an encoding error. Nothing we can do about it if it was.

    • AsuraE says:

If you’re going to post a screen, at least tell us what time it happens at. There’s no way in hell I’ll look through the entire video for something like that when 99% of the time it’s an error on your end.

Edit: found the scene and it’s your problem.

      • nINJAkECIL says:

I red the post, and I realize when in POG, his name is Rook. But that screen was Nanoha’s saying.
As for the glitch, I’m not sure it was my end. I’m sorry to forgot the timecode.
Re-download the video again, and still found the same glitch.
Trying changing the filter from LAV to ffdshow with no avail.Funnily, when I open the video in Aegisub, the glitch disappear.
Well, it’s just a small glitch anyway.
        Thanks for the reply.

        • Quattro says:

I’ll have the editor take a look to try and figure out which is the proper name to use there.

As for the glitch, if it’s not in aegisub, that means it’s something to do with your playback setup.

        • RandomEntropy1 says:

In general, I’m leaving it as “Rook” when Kaito’s friends say it because they were told in ep 13 that he was in the POG. Therefore, they would think of him “Rook from the POG” rather than “Kaito’s friend, Luke”. For the most part, Luke will probably only be used when Kaito is referring to him.
