OAD 2 torrent

Quattro edit: For all of you who are don’t seem to get it, EVERY VERSION OF THIS SHOW IS UNCENSORED. All the raws are the same in terms of censoring. But, because leechers seem to be too enchanted by the pointless [Uncensored] tag, we will be adding it starting next week. Yay for pointless tags.

Also, we really need another typesetter or two. Currently there are 8 episodes backlogged at typesetting and our only typesetter is starting final exams.

AOD1 crashes my MPC, this never happened before, ever.

  2. Havoc10K says:

CRC matches the on file numbers.

  3. Havoc10K says:

    Win7 pro 64bit.
    Athlon XP2 64 5000+
    4 gigs ram
ATI Radeon HD 4650 128 bit 1 gig memory

    that enough ?

    my laptop:
celeron something from year 2003 (read: crap CPU old shit I would love to break it apart)
    WinXP home
    Ati something series, old.
    2 gigs ram
Plays AOD2 and 3, crashes on 1 as well.
(surprisingly, it plays 720p FSN blurays just well :) )

  4. Havoc10K says:

cccp of curse, like any true anime fan should use, vlc is evil, mpc is good.

I don’t really know by what setup, I used standard all the time.

  5. Havoc10K says:

like I said, it didn’t work.

    • AsuraE says:

Just completely reinstall CCCP then. A setting probably got changed somewhere by accident and screwed things up.

  6. Havoc10K says:

I re-encoded it with the same settings you apparently used, and it works now.
I don’t have to reinstall everything just because one file out of a thousand doesn’t work, it is obviously not my fault, I always have at least one problem with your releases actually, but this is the first time it was a playback problem.

    • EpicNaruto says:

And the fact that no one else has those problems means…? It’s on your end, not ours. We’re glad to help troubleshoot what problems you do have with our releases but when not a single other person (staff included) seem have these problems, you can be sure it isn’t something we did.

@Havoc10K – You’d be suprised how often ffdshow will corrupt itself. I use ZPlayer (which has a built-in codec installer) and when I personally start having problems in playback, telling it to reinstall ffdshow fixes the issue about 95% of the time. That includes things like video stuttering, missing frames, and wonky subtitles. My personal system is a i7 3 GHz, for comparison’s sake (in that setup, I should NEVER have stuttering video – and reinstalling ffdshow fixes it every time).

    • Jk says:

Interesting I normally have no problems using the good old built in windows media player I personally don’t understand why people have to use other players at all, installing the correct decoder fixes most problems apparently.

  8. PiisAWheel says:

Am I the only one who realized that the golden ratio mentioned above is 1:Pi?

  9. Edge says:

The OAD’s will not work on out of the box Mplayer.

This means something is very seriously wrong with their encoding. I can guarantee Havoc won’t be the only one who is going to have problems.

    • Quattro says:

… Then get a better media set up. One that WILL play things properly. It’s not the encoding.

    • AsuraE says:

Isn’t it funny how each OAD has ~2700 downlaods according to nyaa and only 2 people are saying something is wrong, especially when none of the staff had any problems, despite being worked on across multiple players and OSes.

I have tested it on 4 different computers, running XP Pro, XP Home, Ubuntu 11.04, Win7 Ultimate, Win7 Home Premium. Under all versions of windows the videos play fine using CCCP with the default settings and under Ubuntu Mplayer works fine (and so does VLC for that matter).

So I guess that means that you are using a Mac and it’s acting like a fag for you (since you are clearly so awesome that it’s impossible that something was corrupted or you accidently set a wrong setting somewhere).

  10. Spudsworth says:

I’m getting nothing but green screens for the two OADs in WMC. I have CCCP, and I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and I read the text file linked above (and I did what it said). I’m still getting nothing for video. The sound works fine. I even tried it with WMP, and got nothing but green.

I have no idea why it’s doing this, nor do I know how to solve it (I’m not the most computer-savvy person). Any ideas as to why this is happening?

    • Quattro says:

Why are you using anything else if you have cccp installed? Use MPC-HC.

You probably have some weird setting that got left over (simply uninstalling and reinstalling cccp doesn’t delete the settings, unless you specified that option). Use the cccp insurgent and get rid of all codec packs, then reinstall cccp and don’t keep any settings you may have had. Then follow the instructions again.
