In case anyone cares, fileserve panicked and started deleting files/accounts, so we won’t be using them anymore.
EDIT: They’ve disabled our account now too (and we had just bought a premium a few weeks ago, which seems to still work through jdownloader ( ¯3¯)~ scratch that, they disabled downloading just like filesonic).

For now, we have rehosted all our files on Uploadstation and Filejungle (yes, we know, fileserve clones). We’ll be posting only the uploadstation links for now though (unless people begin to request the filejungle links instead). Let us know which you would all prefer. Removed their affiliate programs.

If you know of a filehost with any affiliate program and service for free users, leave a comment with information. EDIT: Must have an affiliate program, allow 1gb+ files (download/upload), ftp upload, decent free storage (we have a lot of files), not an obvious scam, decent service for free users.

Our referral links are below if anyone is planning on making an account. Every bit helps with our server costs.

Filevelocity referral link~
Depostfiles referral link~
SendMyWay referral link~
Turbobit referral link~
Filefactory referral link~
Bulletupload referral link~
DDLAnime referral link~

Edit: Unless you know for a fact that they have an affiliate program, stop suggesting sites.

So far we’ve made accounts on several new file hosting sites, and we’ll be testing them out over the next couple of weeks. What we have so far: Uploadstation (being used as main now), Filejungle (backup), Filepost, x7.to, oron, Filevelocity (main), sendmyway, refile, turbobit, filefactory, bulletupload, extabit, depostfiles, and netload.in.

I’ve added a poll. Please vote.

You should just open up a donation box and use Mediafire. I’m sure people would be glad to throw a few bucks your way.

  2. _i says:

So what about wupload? Haven’t used it in a while but from what I remember, they’re quite decent.

  3. Andrew Rox22 says:

    Quote from another subber:

“Now then, the candidates going forward:
netload.in: Seems fine, though upload is a little slow. Has a rewards program.
Rapidshare: Me and RS are not friends.
Filedropper: Upload far too slow, painfully so.
x7.to: A little gem, amazing upload speed and it has a rewards program.
Uploadking: Website extremely slow, I immediately lost all faith.
    Shragle: Max filesize is 1gb.”

x7.to looks pretty good, you guys should try it out =D

  4. Mykl says:

Well, uhm, I don’t know if you’ll even consider this, but Rapidshare is my preferred hoster. Don’t know about the affiliate program, but its certainly best for free users as theres no waiting and no hourly download limit or sth like that.

    • AsuraE says:

Rapidshare got a really bad name for itself ages back and because of that people avoid it like the plague, and as far as I know they don’t have any affiliate programs.

      • Andrew Rox22 says:

+1 on that, no affiliate program

Rapidshare downloads used to be really good for me but ever since it got popular, downloads start up decent then slow down till it fails…. I refuse to ever support RS

  5. Michael says:

What about Multiupload, zomgupload, grupload, groovefile, sendmyway, or refile? I don’t know if any of those have affiliate programs.

    • AsuraE says:

Multiupload doesn’t let you upload to the other filehosts with your own account, so any money from any affiliate programs is lost. As for the others, I’ve never heard of them and I don’t care about them. If you’re going to suggest filehosts, at least do 2 minutes of looking into whether they have an affiliate program or not before posting.

    • Quattro says:

I’ve seen it already, and I have tried the hosts suggested but wasn’t fond of them.

Slow speeds, clunky interfaces, just not as good as uploadstation/filejungle (aside from not being affiliated with fileserve, which is a plus).

  6. Beggarking says:

How about Filepost.com, maybe even rapidshare (they had some serious improvements compared to a couple years back)/

  7. Midnightcoast says:

I heard that uploadstation is now only allowing downloading what you uploaded, removed it’s affiliate program and is banning certain IP addresses. Same story for filejungle. It’s a sad time for anime fans…

  8. Midnightcoast says:

Here is the “latest” news that I’ve found…
    MegaUpload – Closed.
FileServe – Closing does not sell premium.
FileJungle – Deleting files. Locked in the U.S.
UploadStation – Locked in the U.S.
FileSonic – The news is arbitrary (under FBI investigation).
VideoBB – Closed! would disappear soon.
Uploaded – Banned U.S. and the FBI went after the owners who are gone.
FilePost – Deleting all material (so will leave executables, pdfs, txts)
Videoz – closed and locked in the countries affiliated with the USA.
4shared – Deleting files with copyright and waits in line at the FBI.
MediaFire – Called to testify in the next 90 days and it will open doors pro FBI
Org torrent – could vanish with everything within 30 days “he is under criminal investigation”
Network Share mIRC – awaiting the decision of the case to continue or terminate Torrent everything.
Koshiki – operating 100% Japan will not join the SOPA / PIPA.
Shienko Box – 100% working china / korea will not join the SOPA / PIPA
ShareX BR – group UOL / BOL / iG say they will join the SOPA / PIPA

Japan, China and Korea have a say NO to the FBI and that even if laws are passed in the USA will not have any value within the sovereignty of their countries!

P/S: mediafire has start deleting copyright protected files. Only left is the personal files.

It’s the end of file hosts everywhere. Now can someone for the love of god tell me what servers/channels/bots I need to use to get the latest rl TV shows. I will shoot anyone that says news =_=

  10. dCypher says:

I use a pretty decent host for my files. I didn’t plan on “sharing” it because it seems pretty niche. In fact, it seems so unknown that “every registered user is a premium user”. It has an affiliate program as far as I know, but I didn’t register my paypal with them, so I can’t tell if it actually works. http://i39.tinypic.com/1zgeov8.jpg
Max filesize for upload is 10GB I believe. It seems to have unlimited storage, but don’t quote me on it. It also lets you fetch files from pretty much any server if you have a direct download link.(should work for FTP) I used it mainly to fetch from Megaupload, Filesonic and whatnot, with multi-link support. It has a remote sites premium login, but I never used it, because even without it I would fetch files from megaupload with around 10MB/s or more. There is no wait time for downloads. Supports download accelerators, albeit at only 2 simultaneous connections. Download speeds for me have been around 400-600KB/s. I guess it’s worth checking out. Filerio.com
I hope they don’t change their policies if more users register. ;o

  11. Dunno says:

I assume the DDL were for making money correct?
In that case just throw up a bunch of ads. I wouldn’t mind.
If people need DDL’s then they could visit a torrent bot like animetosho.org or something.

  12. Hmmm says:

upafile.com seems pretty fast and decent, they have an affiliate program.
No FTP, meh. No premium accounts, each FREE account has a 10GB file box.
They be operating out of the Netherlands so SOPA can get fucked.
    Another alternative may be BayFiles.com

  13. Cloah says:

    I got good speeds with refile.net ….

  14. Mugen says:

This ball will just keep on rolling, PIPA and SOPA was just a smoke screen for ACTA which is signed in the USA, EU is up now for voting.

  15. khairihyon says:

    They started a cyberwar

  16. Child Porno Ring says:

    FTP server access, Gigabit speed.
Direct download links up to 1Gb speeds.
    Affiliate program.
    Max file size 16GB.
10TB storage space (Premium Accounts at $8/month)

  17. Looldeo says:

I was going to say Mediafire then I read the comments so…
I haven’t used many of them often, but I would vote negatively to Bulletupload.
